The TRIDON 6310053 is a marine-grade hose clamp built from 300 series high-nickel alloy stainless steel throughout, including the band, housing, and screw. It handles clamping ranges from 1/2 inch to 7/8 inch and is engineered specifically for corrosive environments where standard carbon-steel hardware fails. The 9/16-inch-wide band delivers a broad seating surface that distributes clamping force evenly and resists bite-through on rubber and silicone hose. The 5/16-inch slotted hex-head screw allows installation with either a flat-blade screwdriver or a hex-head driver. At 0.047 pounds, the clamp is lightweight without sacrificing the corrosion resistance required for inground, underwater, or saltwater-exposed systems.
This clamp is suited for marine plumbing, bilge, exhaust cooling, and raw-water system connections where exposure to saltwater, moisture, or chemically aggressive fluids is constant. It is also appropriate for below-grade or inground irrigation and plumbing connections where soil chemistry accelerates corrosion on lower-grade hardware. The all-stainless construction makes it a standard choice when installers need a clamp that will not rust, streak, or weaken over time in wet or submerged service. Sold individually.
Designed as a marine-grade OEM-style replacement clamp for hose connections with an outside diameter between 1/2 inch and 7/8 inch in saltwater, freshwater, and corrosive-environment plumbing systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed marine mechanic, plumber, or qualified service technician. Shut off the associated fluid supply and relieve any system pressure before removing the existing clamp or disconnecting hose. Position the clamp so the screw housing does not bear directly against a sharp edge or fitting flange. Tighten the screw until the band seats firmly against the hose without deforming it, and inspect for leaks after returning the system to service.
