The TRIDON 5716053 is a worm-drive hose clamp designed for securing hoses in plumbing, HVAC, and general fluid-handling applications. Built with a 300 series stainless steel band and housing, it resists corrosion in wet and chemical-exposure environments. The band measures 1/2 inch wide and adjusts from 11/16 inch to 1-1/2 inch in diameter, covering a range of standard hose sizes. The clamping screw is a 5/16-inch slotted hex head in zinc-plated carbon steel. Installation requires a standard screwdriver or 5/16-inch nut driver. This clamp is sold individually and is appropriate for plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors.
This clamp is suited for residential and light commercial use where corrosion resistance is a priority. Typical applications include securing coolant hoses, condensate drain lines, radiator connections, and other fluid-carrying hose assemblies. The stainless steel band holds up in moist or outdoor environments where plain steel clamps would corrode prematurely. It fits hoses with an outside diameter falling within the 11/16-inch to 1-1/2-inch adjustment range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install hose clamp for any application requiring a worm-drive clamp with a 11/16-inch to 1-1/2-inch clamping range and a 1/2-inch wide stainless steel band.
Install with a flathead screwdriver or 5/16-inch nut driver. Position the clamp over the hose before sliding the hose onto the fitting, then tighten until snug against the hose without over-torquing, which can cut into the hose material. Depressurize and drain any line before servicing connections. Follow applicable plumbing or mechanical codes for hose and clamp selection in pressurized systems.
