Trendnet TI-G62 6-port Industrial Gigabit Switch

Product Description

The TRENDNET TI-G62 is a 6-port hardened industrial gigabit switch built for demanding environments where standard commercial networking equipment cannot operate reliably. Designed for use in industrial control systems, manufacturing floors, utility infrastructure, and other harsh-environment applications, the TI-G62 delivers gigabit Ethernet connectivity across all six ports. Its hardened construction addresses exposure to temperature extremes, vibration, and electrical noise common in industrial settings. Licensed network technicians and industrial controls integrators are the typical installers for this type of equipment.

The TI-G62 is suited for industrial networking deployments in environments such as factory automation, transportation systems, energy distribution, and building control infrastructure. It provides reliable gigabit switching where a standard commercial switch would be exposed to conditions beyond its rated operating range. The unit ships as a single piece and is categorized as an industrial switch or router.

Key Features

• Six gigabit Ethernet ports for high-speed industrial network connectivity
• Hardened enclosure rated for industrial temperature and environmental conditions
• DIN-rail or panel mounting typical of industrial switch form factors
• Gigabit throughput on all ports supports bandwidth-intensive control and data applications
• Compact single-unit form factor suited for control cabinet installation

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install industrial gigabit switch compatible with standard industrial Ethernet network architectures requiring a hardened 6-port gigabit switching solution.

Installation Notes

Installation of industrial network switches of this type is typically performed by licensed network technicians or industrial controls electricians. Power down the control cabinet or panel and de-energize all connected equipment before mounting and wiring the switch. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for low-voltage data wiring in industrial enclosures. Verify operating temperature range and power input requirements against site conditions before commissioning.
