The TRANSOLID twk363696-ki31h is a trimmable shower wall kit from the Titan collection, designed for glue-up installation over existing surfaces in residential and commercial settings. The kit includes seven pieces: one 39-inch back panel, two 39-inch side panels, two aluminum inside corner trim pieces, and two aluminum edge trim pieces. Each panel measures 4mm (0.1575 inches) thick and is built with three layers — an aluminum face, a mineral resin core, and an aluminum backing — delivering a scratch-resistant, water-resistant surface with a smooth honed finish in Savanna Grey. Licensed contractors and experienced installers typically handle this type of panel work.
This kit fits shower enclosures with an opening size of 36 inches, accommodating front-to-back dimensions of 33 to 40 inches and left-to-right dimensions of 35 to 40 inches, with a top-to-bottom height of 95 inches or greater. The trimmable panels make it suitable for both new construction and remodel projects. Beyond shower enclosures, the panels can also be applied to bathroom walls, laundry room walls, accent walls, and kitchen backsplashes. The faucet cutout can be positioned on the left or right side to suit the existing rough-in layout.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation kit for three-wall shower enclosures with a 36-inch opening. Optional shelving and storage accessories (sold separately) compatible with this system include models STH5814, STH4614, STH3414, STH1414, STV5814, STV4614, STV3415, SSC, SS17, JGBS20, and JGBS30. Suggested Transolid Trimslate bases (sold separately) include models FZS4836C, FZS5140C, FZS6032, FZS6032C, FZS6036, FZS6036C, FZS6040, FZS6040C, FZS6332, FZS6332C, FZS6336, FZS6336C, FZS6340, and FZS6340C.
Installation is performed by a qualified tile setter, remodeling contractor, or licensed general contractor using standard glue-up methods. Before starting, shut off the water supply and ensure the existing substrate is clean, dry, flat, and structurally sound. Panels must be trimmed to the final opening dimensions prior to adhesive application; follow the adhesive manufacturer's cure time before exposing the surface to water. Local building codes govern substrate requirements and waterproofing standards — verify compliance before installation.
