The TRANSOLID swk483696-27v is a three-piece glue-to-wall shower surround kit from the SaraMar collection, finished in Grey Beach Velvet. Each kit covers a 48-inch wide by 36-inch deep by 96-inch tall shower space using solid surface panels that are 0.25 inches thick. The material is compression-molded with color running all the way through, making the surface scratch resistant, stain resistant, and repairable if damaged. Licensed tile contractors, remodelers, and experienced plumbers install this type of panel system during bath remodels or new construction builds. No demolition is required — panels bond directly over existing wall surfaces using the included interior sealing silicone.
This kit is suited for residential and light commercial shower enclosures where a clean, matte velvet finish is specified. The panels are trimmable, allowing adjustment to fit non-standard framing or existing tub decks. The front-to-back depth range is 33 to 40 inches, the left-to-right range is 45 to 50 inches, and the top-to-bottom clearance requires 95 inches or greater. Two color-coordinated inside corner trim pieces are included. The kit is also available in a 72-inch panel height for lower-ceiling applications. Sample kits are available under separate model numbers for color verification before ordering.
Designed for glue-to-wall installation in standard residential and commercial shower enclosures requiring a front-to-back depth of 33 to 40 inches, a left-to-right width of 45 to 50 inches, and a top-to-bottom clearance of 95 inches or greater.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed tile setter, remodeler, or plumber familiar with solid surface panel systems. Shut off water supply and ensure the existing wall substrate is structurally sound, clean, and free of mold or loose material before applying panels. Follow the adhesive and silicone manufacturer instructions for cure time and ventilation; do not expose bonded panels to water until full cure is achieved. Local building codes may require inspection of waterproofing details at corners and penetrations.
