The Trane Kit 2921 is a thermostatic cage assembly designed for one-half inch B2 radiator traps. This assembly features a cover and incorporates a thermostatic element. This element effectively opens to release air and water from the system while also closing to keep steam inside the heating unit. Although Trane has ceased production of complete steam traps, they continue to offer replacement components to support repair part needs. The kit comes with installation instructions and a new steam trap cover.
