The Trane A5AHV007A1D30A is a convertible variable-speed air handler built for residential split-system HVAC applications. Part of the RunTru product line, it pairs with R-454B refrigerant-based air conditioners and heat pumps in the 3.5-to-5-ton range. The unit operates on 208-230V/1-phase/60Hz power and features a 24-volt system control interface. Its all-aluminum plate-fin coil and variable-speed blower motor deliver a capacity range of 42,000 to 60,000 BTU/h. A licensed HVAC technician is the expected installer for this equipment. The 4-way multi-position cabinet design allows flexible installation orientation to suit a wide range of residential applications.
This air handler is designed for residential split-system installations where the indoor unit must accommodate varying cooling and heating loads across a range of tonnages. With a cabinet width of 23.5 inches, it fits within standard D-cabinet rough-in envelopes. The variable-speed blower motor allows the system to modulate airflow to match demand, which supports comfort consistency and efficiency when paired with a compatible outdoor condensing unit or heat pump. The unit includes a factory-installed TXV for refrigerant metering. Compatible outdoor equipment uses R-454B refrigerant.
