The Trane A5AC4060A1000 is a 5-ton (60,000 BTU/h) single-stage central air conditioner condensing unit rated at 14.3 SEER2. Part of the RunTru by Trane product line, this outdoor unit is designed for residential split-system cooling applications. It operates on a 208-230V/1PH/60Hz power supply and is built to perform at outdoor ambient temperatures up to 115 degrees F. The unit ships factory-charged for the condensing unit, 10 feet of connecting line, and the smallest rated indoor evaporative coil match. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning of this equipment.
This condensing unit is suited for residential split-system cooling installations requiring 5-ton capacity. It pairs with AHRI-certified air handlers and furnace coils. Cooling capacities are matched across a wide selection of indoor coil and air handler combinations, giving installing contractors flexibility in system design. The unit is certified to UL 60335-2-40, confirming compliance with recognized safety standards for electrically operated household and similar cooling appliances.
