Installation and service are typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians familiar with rooftop packaged equipment.
The GBC048A4ELB0000 is intended for rooftop installation on light commercial buildings such as small retail, office, or warehouse spaces. The gas-electric configuration provides both vapor-compression cooling and gas-fired heating from a single cabinet, eliminating the need for separate indoor heating equipment. Three-phase 460-volt power supply is required at the unit disconnect. Curb mounting and duct connections are made at the rooftop level during installation.
Designed as an OEM packaged rooftop unit for light commercial gas-electric applications requiring 460-volt, 3-phase power service.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54). Disconnect and lock out all electrical power and close the gas supply valve before servicing. The unit must be set on an approved rooftop curb and all duct, gas, and electrical connections must be completed per the manufacturer installation instructions. Do not operate the unit without verifying proper gas pressure, electrical phasing, and duct static pressure are within acceptable ranges for this equipment class.
