The TPI CKT121 is a heat-only industrial thermostat designed for commercial and industrial heating applications where reliable temperature control is required across a wide operating range. It features a coiled bulb sensing element and ships with a 6-foot line cord for direct connection to heating equipment. The thermostat operates across a control range of 40 to 110 degrees F and accepts supply voltages from 125 to 277 volts, making it compatible with a broad range of single-phase heating circuits. A snap-acting switch mechanism provides positive on/off switching action. At 22 amps, it carries sufficient load capacity for most industrial electric heater applications. Licensed HVAC technicians and industrial electricians are the typical installers for this type of unit.
The CKT121 is suited for industrial and commercial heating installations such as unit heaters, cabinet heaters, duct heaters, and similar forced-air or radiant electric heating equipment. The wide voltage range of 125 to 277 volts allows use across standard 120-volt and 240/277-volt single-phase circuits commonly found in industrial facilities, warehouses, and commercial buildings. The coiled bulb sensing element is positioned to read ambient air temperature in the controlled space and signal the snap-acting switch to cycle the connected heating load on and off within the 40 to 110 degrees F setpoint range.

Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit at the breaker and verify zero voltage with a meter before making any wiring connections. Mount the thermostat in a location where the coiled bulb can sense representative space temperature, away from direct heat sources, drafts, or exterior walls that could cause false readings. Do not exceed the rated voltage or amperage for the device.
