The TPI CE 30-DS is a totally enclosed, direct-drive exhaust fan built for industrial and commercial ventilation applications. Powered by a 1/4 HP motor, it moves up to 3,950 CFM on high speed and 3,080 CFM on low speed, making it effective for high-volume air removal in demanding environments. The 30-inch blade operates on 120 volts, single phase, and draws 2.70 amps. The totally enclosed motor housing protects internal components from dust, debris, and moisture, extending service life in harsh or dirty conditions. Licensed HVAC technicians and commercial ventilation contractors are the typical installers.
The CE 30-DS is suited for industrial facilities, warehouses, manufacturing spaces, agricultural buildings, and commercial kitchens where continuous or high-cycle exhaust duty is required. The two-speed operation gives building managers flexibility to match airflow to occupancy load or ambient conditions. The rough opening dimensions of 33-1/8 inches height by 33-1/8 inches width make it a fit for standard commercial wall or louver penetrations. Single-phase, 120-volt power makes wiring straightforward in most existing service panels without requiring a dedicated three-phase circuit.
Designed as an OEM-style direct-drive exhaust fan for commercial and industrial wall ventilation installations requiring a 30-inch blade in a 33-1/8-inch rough opening.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power to the circuit before beginning installation or any service work. Ensure the rough opening is square and properly framed to the 33-1/8-inch by 33-1/8-inch specification before mounting. Do not operate the fan without proper louver or damper protection to prevent backdraft when the unit is off.
