The TOTALINE p504-h083p is a press-on liquid line bi-flow filter drier designed for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This 8 cubic inch drier uses a press-on connection type, allowing for tool-free installation directly onto the liquid line without brazing or flare fittings. It removes moisture, acid, and particulates from the refrigerant circuit, protecting compressors and metering devices from contamination. Compatible with next-generation low-GWP refrigerants R-32 and R-454B, this drier suits modern systems transitioning away from legacy refrigerants. HVAC technicians and refrigeration service pros are the primary installers.
This filter drier is suited for residential and light commercial split systems and refrigeration equipment using R-32 or R-454B refrigerant. The liquid line bi-flow design allows refrigerant flow in both directions, making it appropriate for heat pump applications where refrigerant flow reverses between heating and cooling modes. Both the inlet and outlet connections are 3/8 inch, fitting standard liquid line sizes common in these system types. Manufactured in Mexico, this part is a field-serviceable component installed during routine maintenance or system repair.
Designed for use with R-32 and R-454B refrigerant systems. Suitable for liquid line service on heat pump and air conditioning equipment using 3/8 inch liquid line connections where a bi-flow filter drier is specified.
Installation of this filter drier should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or refrigeration mechanic. Recover all system refrigerant and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any drier. The press-on connection design does not require brazing, but the line must be clean and free of burrs before seating the drier. Replace the filter drier any time the system is opened to atmosphere or when moisture or contamination is suspected in the refrigerant circuit.
