The TORO O-5-60P is a pressure-compensating (PC) precision nozzle designed for use in drip and micro-irrigation systems. It delivers a consistent, uniform flow rate across varying inlet pressures, making it well suited for sloped terrain and uneven distribution zones. The nozzle covers a 5-foot radius at a 60-degree arc pattern and features a female inlet connection for straightforward integration with standard stake assemblies and distribution tubing. Licensed irrigation professionals and experienced landscape contractors typically specify this nozzle for residential and light commercial drip systems.
This nozzle is used in low-volume precision irrigation applications where arc control and pressure compensation are required. The 60-degree pattern makes it appropriate for narrow or wedge-shaped planting beds, border zones, and tight landscape areas where full- or half-circle coverage would result in overspray or runoff. It is installed on above-ground or flush-to-grade stake bodies connected to polyethylene distribution tubing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or add-on nozzle for TORO PC precision drip irrigation systems using standard female-inlet stake and riser assemblies.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed irrigation technician or landscape irrigation contractor. Shut off the irrigation zone and relieve line pressure before removing or replacing any nozzle. Thread the female inlet onto the stake body by hand, then snug only — do not overtighten, as the nozzle body is molded plastic. Verify arc orientation and radius coverage during a manual zone test before returning the system to automatic operation.
