The TORO O-12-QP is a pressure-compensating (PC) precision nozzle designed for drip and micro-irrigation systems. It delivers a consistent, regulated flow at a fixed 90-degree arc, covering a radius of 12 feet. The female inlet connection threads directly into standard micro-irrigation distribution tubing fittings and stake assemblies. Pressure compensation maintains a uniform output across varying inlet pressures, making it well suited for irrigation zones with elevation changes or mixed run lengths. Licensed irrigation contractors and landscape technicians are the primary installers.
This nozzle is used in residential and light commercial drip and micro-spray irrigation systems. It fits into landscapes where precise, low-volume water delivery is required, such as shrub beds, ground cover plantings, and slope irrigation. The 90-degree pattern directs flow into a quarter-circle area at a 12-foot throw radius. Its female connection is compatible with standard micro-irrigation stake and riser assemblies used in low-flow drip zones.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or add-on nozzle for standard micro-irrigation and drip system stake and riser assemblies using a female inlet connection.
Installation is performed by licensed irrigation contractors or qualified landscape technicians. Shut off the irrigation zone valve and relieve system pressure before threading or unthreading the nozzle. Hand-tighten the female connection onto the stake or riser fitting; do not use pipe wrenches, as overtightening can crack the nozzle body. Verify arc orientation and throw radius after pressurizing the zone to confirm coverage meets design intent.
