The TORO 516-30 is a center-strip 2-stream bubbler designed for low-volume surface irrigation in narrow landscaped areas. It delivers two opposing streams of water in a flat, controlled pattern, making it well suited for strip planters, median beds, and other confined irrigated zones where overspray or misting would be problematic. The inlet connection is 1/2 inch FIPT, allowing direct threaded installation onto standard poly or threaded riser assemblies. Licensed irrigation technicians and landscape contractors are the typical installers for this type of device.
This bubbler is intended for use in low-flow drip and bubbler irrigation zones found in residential and commercial landscape systems. Its center-strip design targets narrow planting areas such as sidewalk borders, planter strips, and median beds where a conventional spray head pattern would overshoot. It is suitable for use on dedicated low-pressure bubbler zones where flow and pressure are regulated at the valve or zone level.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install bubbler for residential and commercial landscape irrigation systems using 1/2 inch FIPT threaded riser connections.
Installation is performed by licensed irrigation technicians or qualified landscape contractors. Shut off the irrigation zone valve and relieve system pressure before threading the bubbler onto the riser. Hand-tighten the FIPT connection, then snug with pliers — do not overtorque threaded plastic fittings. Verify zone operating pressure is appropriate for bubbler-type emitters before returning the zone to service.
