The TMG 96f10327tmg is a full-port ball valve built with an all-316 stainless steel body, ball, stem, and handle for use in demanding fluid control applications. At 1/2 inch with female NPT connections on both ends, it installs directly into standard threaded pipe systems. The valve features a locking lever handle that prevents unintended actuation, reinforced PTFE seats for tight shutoff, and an adjustable stem packing assembly. Every unit is 100% tested during production. The blowout-proof stem design adds a critical safety layer in pressurized systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors working in corrosive or marine environments rely on this valve for consistent, long-term shutoff performance.
The 96f10327tmg is well suited for saltwater systems, marine installations, coastal plumbing, and any application where corrosion resistance is a primary concern. The full-port bore minimizes flow restriction, making it appropriate for both process and utility lines where pressure drop must be controlled. Female NPT connections on both ends allow for straightforward integration into existing threaded piping without adapters. The locking handle is particularly useful in environments where accidental valve operation must be prevented, such as chemical feed lines or equipment isolation points.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation ball valve for 1/2 inch female NPT threaded pipe systems in marine, coastal, and corrosive fluid service applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC and local mechanical codes. Depressurize and drain the line fully before removing any existing valve or fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male pipe threads per standard practice before making up connections. Do not use the valve handle as leverage during installation, as this can stress the stem packing assembly.
