The TITAN USA TT93045 is a straight flute hand tap designed for cutting metric coarse internal threads in blind holes. Built from high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, this bottoming tap is ground to a 6H class of fit and D5 thread limit, making it suitable for close-tolerance threading applications. The bottoming chamfer geometry allows threads to be cut to the very bottom of a blind hole, a requirement common in machined components and fabricated assemblies. With four flutes and a right-hand thread direction, it is sized for M8 x 1.25 threads and has an overall length of 2.7188 inches.
