The TITAN USA TR96111 is a straight-flute chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in metalworking applications. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, this reamer delivers tight dimensional control with a diameter tolerance of +0.0002 to -0.0000 inches at a nominal diameter of 0.2362 inches (6.00 mm). The 6-flute, right-hand cutting geometry produces a smooth bore finish in a single pass. With an overall length of 6 inches and a flute length of 1.5 inches, it fits standard drill presses, CNC machining centers, and manual lathes equipped with a straight-cylindrical shank chuck. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this reamer to bring drilled or bored holes to final size.
The TR96111 is suited for reaming operations in ferrous and non-ferrous metals in job shop, maintenance, and production machining environments. Its straight-cylindrical shank seats directly in collet chucks, drill chucks, and floating holders without adapters. The Series TR96 design covers the 0.2000 to 0.2499 inch diameter range, making this a common choice for through-hole and blind-hole finishing where close fits and smooth surface finishes are required. No coolant-through capability is present, so flood or mist coolant applied externally is the standard method for chip evacuation and tool cooling during use.
Designed as a general-purpose chucking reamer for use in drill presses, CNC machining centers, engine lathes, and manual mills equipped with a straight-cylindrical shank holder. Part of the TITAN USA TR96 series covering the 0.2000 to 0.2499 inch diameter range.
This reamer is installed by a machinist or tool operator into a compatible collet chuck or drill chuck; confirm shank seating and runout before beginning a reaming pass. Always bring the hole to a drilled or bored undersize condition before reaming — do not attempt to remove excessive stock in a single pass. Power down the machine spindle and lock out the drive before changing or inspecting the reamer. Apply external flood or mist coolant to manage chip evacuation and extend tool life, as this tool does not support coolant-through delivery.
