The TITAN USA TC90524 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for demanding cuts. The tool features a 30-degree helix angle and a TiCN coating, which improves surface hardness and reduces friction during cutting. With a 0.375-inch diameter and 1-inch length of cut, this end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry into the workpiece. Licensed machinists and CNC operators typically specify this tool for ferrous and non-ferrous material removal.
This end mill is intended for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where a standard 3/8-inch shank is accepted. The right-hand cut, right-hand flute, upcut geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and is well matched to conventional and climb milling passes. The 2.5-inch overall length keeps the tool compact, reducing deflection risk at typical milling depths. It is a single-end tool sold individually and is appropriate for production-floor and job-shop environments alike.
Designed for use in machining centers and milling machines accepting a 3/8-inch straight shank tool holder, including standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders of the appropriate bore size.
Tool installation should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out, tagged-out state per applicable shop safety procedures. Insert the shank to the recommended engagement depth in the collet or holder before torquing the retention mechanism. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before mounting. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against published carbide tooling parameters for the workpiece material before initiating a cut.
