The TITAN USA TC87293 is a solid carbide chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in machining applications. Built to Series TC87 specifications, it produces accurate, close-tolerance bores with a reamer diameter of 0.2350 inches and a diameter tolerance of +0.0002 to -0.0000 inches. The 4-flute, straight-flute geometry with right-hand cutting direction delivers smooth material removal and consistent surface finish. At 3 inches overall length with a 1-inch flute length and a straight-cylindrical shank, this reamer is suited for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and drill presses where repeatable hole sizing is required. The bright, uncoated carbide surface is appropriate for a range of workpiece materials where coating interference is not desired.
This reamer is used in production and job-shop machining environments where hole tolerance and finish quality are critical. Typical applications include finishing drilled or bored holes to precise diameter in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites. The straight-cylindrical shank allows direct chuck or collet mounting in standard toolholding systems. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in both light manufacturing and precision-parts production settings.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide chucking reamer for use in standard chuck or collet toolholding systems on CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and drill presses accepting a straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank firmly in a collet or drill chuck rated for the spindle speed being used, and verify runout before production cutting. Power down and lock out the spindle before mounting or removing the reamer. Do not use this tool as a drill — always pre-drill or bore the hole to near-final size before reaming to final diameter.
