The TITAN USA TC87168 is a solid carbide chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in metalworking applications. With a reamer diameter of 0.1330 inches and a diameter tolerance of +0.0002 to -0.0000 inches, it holds tight dimensional control for close-tolerance bores. The 4-flute, straight-flute geometry with right-hand cutting direction provides a clean, consistent finish pass. Overall length is 2.5 inches with a 0.75-inch flute length and a straight-cylindrical shank diameter of 0.1330 inches. Carbide construction delivers hardness and wear resistance across a wide range of workpiece materials. This reamer is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one.
This reamer is suited for machine shop, toolroom, and production environments where a final-pass reamer is needed to bring drilled or bored holes to precise finished diameter. The straight-cylindrical shank seats directly in drill chucks, collet chucks, or reamer holders on CNC machining centers, manual mills, and drill presses. It is appropriate for through-hole and blind-hole finishing in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a bright, uncoated carbide tool provides adequate surface finish and dimensional accuracy at moderate cutting speeds.
Designed for use in standard chucking setups accepting a 0.1330-inch straight-cylindrical shank; compatible with drill chucks, collet chucks, and reamer holders sized to fit the shank diameter. Part of the TITAN USA TC87 series.
Chucking reamers are installed by machinists and toolroom professionals in machine spindles with appropriate holders. Ensure the workpiece is securely fixtured and the spindle is at a complete stop before loading or changing tooling. Use recommended cutting fluid or coolant for the workpiece material to extend tool life and improve surface finish. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and applicable shop safety procedures when setting tool offsets and approach speeds.
