The TITAN USA TC74605 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding materials including superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. The tool measures 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) in diameter with a 0.0200 inch corner radius and a 1.1250 inch reach length. A 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree medium helix provides efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality in both roughing and finishing operations. The AlTiN PVD coating adds heat resistance and extends tool life when cutting ferrous and high-temperature alloy workpieces. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard toolholders used in CNC and manual milling setups.
The TC74605 is suited for milling operations on superalloys, titanium alloys, stainless steel, Inconel, alloy steel, and cast iron in both production shop and job shop environments. The extra-long length of cut at 1.1250 inches allows access to deeper features and pockets where standard-length end mills cannot reach. The corner radius end geometry reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life in difficult-to-machine materials. This tool is typically installed by machinists and tool and die professionals working on precision components in aerospace, medical, and industrial manufacturing applications.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders. Rated for primary workpiece materials including superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron per manufacturer material application designations S, M, and K.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or toolholder bore to ensure runout is within acceptable limits before cutting. Verify shank seating and tool projection before engaging the workpiece. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing or inspecting the end mill. Follow shop-standard speeds and feeds for the specific workpiece material and do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended parameters for this diameter and flute count.
