The TITAN USA TC74429 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials including superalloys, titanium alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, alloy steel, and Inconel. It carries a 3/8 inch diameter with a 0.0300 inch corner radius and a 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry. The AlTiN PVD coating provides heat resistance and surface hardness suited to aggressive cutting conditions. At 4 inches overall length with a 1 inch length of cut, this is a long-series tool built for reach in deep-pocket and contour applications. It accepts standard straight-cylindrical toolholders with a 3/8 inch shank diameter to h6 tolerance.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers for roughing and finishing operations where corner radius geometry is required to reduce stress concentrations at part features. Primary applications include aerospace components, medical parts, and industrial hardware machined from hard-to-cut materials. The 30-degree medium helix angle balances chip evacuation with cutting stability across ferrous and high-temperature alloy workpieces. Single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional CNC toolpath programming.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical CNC toolholders. Rated for ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium alloy, and Inconel workpieces per TITAN USA series TC specifications.
Installation is performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool-change routine is complete before handling or seating the end mill. Use a calibrated toolholder with appropriate runout tolerance for the h6 shank; excessive runout accelerates edge wear and reduces corner radius accuracy. Verify toolpath feeds, speeds, and depth of cut against the material specification before the first cut.
