The TITAN USA TC67186 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance finishing operations in demanding metalworking applications. Built with 6 helical flutes and a 0.03 inch corner radius, it delivers smooth surface finishes and extended tool life on difficult-to-machine materials. The 5/8 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 5/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank for solid rigidity in standard toolholders. An AlCromax (ALCRO-MAX) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection at elevated cutting speeds, making this tool well-suited for aerospace, energy, and precision manufacturing environments where tool longevity under heat and stress is critical.
This end mill is designed for finishing cuts in superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous metals. The close-pitch flute design and high helix angle support chip evacuation in tough materials. It is a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with compatible toolholders. Typical applications include contour milling, shoulder milling, and profile finishing where edge integrity and dimensional accuracy are required.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders accepting a 5/8 inch cylindrical shank. Rated for superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron workpiece materials per manufacturer specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator following the toolholder manufacturer torque and runout specifications. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Verify correct tool projection and runout with a dial indicator before starting a cut. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; use external coolant or air blast as appropriate for the workpiece material.
