The TITAN USA TC66548 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in non-ferrous machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) mill diameter, a 0.0400 inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 45-degree high helix angle. The ZrN (zirconium nitride) PVD coating reduces built-up edge and extends tool life when cutting aluminum, brass, and bronze. With a coarse pitch and centercutting capability, this end mill handles both plunge and profile operations in a single setup.
This end mill is suited for CNC milling operations on non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and bronze. The long-length configuration, with a 2.5000 inch reach and 3.0000 inch length of cut, makes it appropriate for deep-pocket and side-wall finishing work where standard-length tools cannot reach. It is intended for use in toolholders with a straight cylindrical shank and is a single-end, roughing-class tool. Typical users include machinist shops running production or prototype work on light-alloy components.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter. Primary workpiece materials are non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and bronze (material application code N).
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the toolholder is clean and the shank is fully seated to the correct insertion depth before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator after mounting to confirm alignment within acceptable tolerances. Do not exceed the tool's rated cutting parameters for the workpiece material.
