The TITAN USA TC65908 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in non-ferrous materials. It features a 1/8 inch (0.1250 inch) mill diameter, a 0.0100 inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 45-degree high helix angle for efficient chip evacuation. The cutting end is center-cutting, allowing direct plunge entry into the workpiece. A ZrN (zirconium nitride) PVD coating reduces friction and extends tool life when cutting aluminum, brass, and bronze. This tool is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on close-tolerance components.
The TC65908 is suited for finishing and light roughing passes in non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and bronze. Its regular-length geometry and straight cylindrical shank make it compatible with standard collet-style toolholders used in vertical machining centers and high-speed spindle applications. The coarse pitch and high helix promote smooth cutting action and chip clearance in gummy or soft non-ferrous alloys. With a 0.5000 inch reach length and 1-1/2 inch overall length, this end mill fits compact workholding setups where clearance is limited.
Designed for use with standard collet-style toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Optimized for non-ferrous workpiece materials including aluminum, brass, and bronze (primary workpiece material code: N).
Installation is performed by machinists using a compatible collet or end mill holder rated for the 1/8 inch shank diameter. Ensure the toolholder and spindle are fully de-energized and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before tool changes. Verify runout with a dial indicator after seating to protect the tight mill diameter tolerance of -0.0020/0.0000 inch. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's recommended torque and clamping specifications for this shank size.
