The TITAN USA TC65320 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and bronze. It has a 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) mill diameter, a 0.0200 inch corner radius, and a 2-flute configuration with a 45-degree high helix spiral flute geometry. The ZrN (zirconium nitride) PVD coating reduces built-up edge and improves tool life in non-ferrous applications. At 3 inches overall length with a 1.375 inch length of cut, this is a long-series end mill suited to reaching into pockets and slots where shorter tooling falls short. It is centercutting and runs right-hand flute direction with right-hand cutting direction.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where non-ferrous metal stock — aluminum, brass, and bronze — requires a corner radius profile to reduce stress concentrations at part corners or to produce radiused slot bottoms. The long-series reach makes it useful for deeper cavity work. It accepts standard straight-cylindrical toolholders with a 5/16 inch shank diameter. The coarse pitch and 2-flute design prioritize chip clearance and chip evacuation over tool rigidity, making it a strong choice for high-feed aluminum roughing passes.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical toolholders accepting a 5/16 inch shank diameter. Optimized for milling non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and bronze.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder to the recommended gauge length before tightening to toolholder specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut — excess runout accelerates corner radius wear and degrades surface finish. Do not use this end mill on ferrous materials; the ZrN coating is optimized for non-ferrous applications and tool life will degrade significantly on steel or cast iron. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines for spindle speed and feed rate when setting up for aluminum or brass.
