The TITAN USA TC64436 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding metalworking environments. Built with 6 helical flutes and a 0.03 inch corner radius, this single-end tool delivers smooth surface finishes while reducing corner chipping on difficult-to-machine materials. The 3/4 inch mill diameter pairs with a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank for rigid, low-runout tool holding. An AlCromax (ALCRO-MAX) PVD coating enhances wear resistance and thermal stability at elevated cutting temperatures. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals using CNC machining centers and manual mills.
The TC64436 is intended for finishing cuts in superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous metals. Its stub-length geometry and close-pitch flute configuration suit tight-tolerance finishing passes where rigidity and surface finish quality are critical. The high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation in gummy or work-hardening materials. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard. This tool fits toolholders sized for a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Designed for use with toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the toolholder and torque retention screws or collet nuts per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts, particularly when working with tight-tolerance finishing operations on superalloys or titanium.
