The TITAN USA TC62932 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and other hard materials. This single-end tool features a 0.5-inch cutting diameter, a 1.25-inch length of cut, and a 3-inch overall length. The 45-degree helix angle and upcut flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation and reduce heat buildup at the cutting edge. A zirconium nitride (ZrN) finish adds surface hardness and lubricity, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. With micrograin carbide construction and center-cutting capability, this end mill handles both plunge and peripheral cuts. It is sold individually and suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
The TC62932 is intended for machinists and tooling professionals working in job shops, production environments, and general-purpose machine shops. Its 0.5-inch shank diameter fits standard ER and straight-bore tool holders commonly found in vertical and horizontal machining centers. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is the standard orientation for most CNC and manual milling setups. The 1.25-inch length of cut supports slot milling, shoulder milling, and contouring passes at moderate depths. This tool is well-suited for ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a ZrN-coated carbide tool is specified.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill with a 0.5-inch shank diameter, compatible with ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and straight-bore tool holders sized for 0.5-inch shanks on CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the end mill from the tool holder. Seat the shank to the recommended engagement depth in the collet or holder and torque the retention nut to the tool holder specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and verify runout with a dial indicator when tight tolerances are required.
