The TITAN USA TC61916 is a 5-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it handles elevated cutting temperatures and abrasive materials. The 45-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With a 0.25-inch cutting diameter and 0.75-inch length of cut, this end mill suits slotting, profiling, and finishing passes where tight tolerances and tool life are priorities. It is a right-hand cut, right-hand flute, upcut single-end tool suitable for CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments including job shops, tool and die operations, and production machining. It performs well in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and high-temperature alloys where AlTiN coating provides thermal protection and extended wear resistance. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral milling. Machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, automotive, and general metalworking applications will find this tool suited to finish and semi-finish milling at aggressive feed rates.
Designed as a standard-shank replacement end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.25-inch round shank via collet, end mill holder, or shrink-fit tooling.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended gauge-line depth and torque the retention nut per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the tool edge for chipping before each use and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run.
