The TITAN USA TC58286 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and hard material applications. Built from micrograin carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), this tool delivers extended tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. The 0.0860-inch cutting diameter and 0.258-inch length of cut make it well suited for fine-detail work, slot milling, and profile milling in tight geometries. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the upcut flute direction pulls chips away from the workpiece. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC mills and manual vertical milling machines.
This end mill fits applications requiring small-diameter precision cutting, including mold work, die machining, and intricate part profiling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 0.125-inch (1/8-inch) shank diameter is a standard size compatible with common collet systems. The 1.5-inch overall length keeps the tool rigid, minimizing deflection during aggressive cuts at small diameters. The center-cutting design allows plunge entry into the workpiece. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute geometry match standard spindle rotation on most CNC and manual milling platforms.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-production square end mill for use in 1/8-inch collet systems on CNC vertical machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a 0.0860-inch cutting diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet to the manufacturer-recommended engagement depth and torque the collet nut according to the collet system specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as micrograin carbide tools can fracture if run with a compromised edge.
