The TITAN USA TC58243 is a 4-flute square end mill ground from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) for extended tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting applications. The cutter measures 0.0430 inches in diameter with a 0.129-inch length of cut and runs on a 0.125-inch (1/8 inch) shank. Overall length is 1.5 inches. The 30-degree helix angle and upcut right-hand flute geometry promote chip evacuation and reduce heat buildup at the cutting zone. This is a centercutting end mill, making it capable of plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling.
