The TITAN USA TC58232 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations requiring tight tolerances and a sharp, flat-bottom finish. Measuring 0.0320 inches in cutting diameter with a 0.096 inch length of cut, this miniature end mill is built for fine detail work in ferrous and nonferrous materials. The micrograin carbide substrate and AlTiN coating deliver heat resistance and edge retention at elevated cutting speeds. With a 30-degree helix angle and four upcut flutes, it evacuates chips efficiently while maintaining surface finish quality. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in tool-and-die, mold making, and precision part production will find this tool suited to their finishing and semi-finishing passes.
This end mill is suited for use in vertical machining centers, CNC routers, and manual mills where a 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) straight shank is accepted. Its 1.5 inch overall length keeps deflection low in short-reach applications. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral cutting. Typical applications include slot milling, profiling, and contouring in hardened steels, stainless steel, titanium, and high-temp alloys where the AlTiN coating provides thermal protection.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) round shank collet or end mill holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cutting program, particularly given the small diameter of this tool where even minor runout accelerates wear and increases breakage risk.
