The TITAN USA TC57466 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 0.04-inch cutting diameter and a 3-flute, right-hand cutting geometry, this tool removes material efficiently in a variety of workpiece materials. The 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces chatter during the cut. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and similar materials where coating adhesion or heat buildup is not a primary concern. Machinists and toolroom operators running CNC machining centers or manual mills will find this end mill appropriate for fine detail work and small-feature machining.
This end mill is intended for small-diameter, high-precision milling operations where minimal tool deflection and accurate feature geometry are required. The 0.12-inch length of cut and 0.36-inch reach length allow it to work in shallow-to-moderate depth slots and pockets. The 0.125-inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders sized for 1/8-inch tooling. It is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can be used for plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling. The extended reach configuration adds versatility for applications where clearance from the spindle nose to the workpiece is a factor.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with 1/8-inch collets or end mill holders. Suitable for cutting non-ferrous metals, plastics, and similar materials within the length-of-cut range of 0.10 to 0.20 inches.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, powered-down state. Secure the 0.125-inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism according to the holder manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as micro-diameter carbide tooling is brittle and sensitive to improper handling. Follow your machine's programming guidelines for appropriate feed rates and speeds for the workpiece material.
