The TITAN USA TC52020 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.0200 inch cutting diameter and a 0.03 inch length of cut, this tool is built for fine detail work and tight-tolerance slotting where dimensional accuracy is critical. The micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention in demanding cutting conditions. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The bright, uncoated finish makes this tool well-suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials where coating buildup is a concern. Machinists and tool room operators working on CNC mills and machining centers are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill fits applications requiring small-diameter precision cutting, including mold and die work, micro-slot milling, engraving paths, and fine-feature machining on CNC equipment. The 0.125 inch shank diameter is compatible with standard 1/8 inch collets and tool holders common in CNC machining centers and precision mills. The 1.5 inch overall length provides enough reach for most shallow-pocket and surface-milling operations without sacrificing rigidity at this diameter. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction follow standard conventions for conventional and climb milling on CNC platforms.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collets and tool holders on CNC machining centers and precision mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the tool holder manufacturer guidelines for collet torque and runout specifications. Always power down and lock out the spindle before loading or unloading tooling. Verify collet size and tool holder condition before securing the end mill to minimize runout at this small diameter. At 0.0200 inch diameter, feed rates and speeds must be carefully calculated to avoid tool breakage.
