The TITAN USA TC50884 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding industrial applications. It features a 5/64 inch (0.078 inch) diameter with a 0.0150 inch corner radius and a 15/64 inch length of cut, making it well suited for finishing and semi-finishing operations where edge integrity and dimensional accuracy are critical. The 4-flute, single-end geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finish. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting hard or abrasive workpiece materials. Overall length is 1.5 inches with a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with compatible toolholders. It is rated for roughing and finishing operations in superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry, adding flexibility in complex part programs. It is appropriate for aerospace, medical device, die and mold, and precision component manufacturing environments where tight tolerances and difficult-to-machine materials are the norm.
Designed for use with standard CNC toolholders accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for machining superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron per manufacturer material application ratings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the toolholder collet or chuck bore is clean and within specification before seating the shank to maintain runout within acceptable limits. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or adjusting any cutting tool. Do not exceed the manufacturer-rated depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material being machined.
