The TITAN USA TC27112 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built with five helical flutes and an AlCromax (ALCRO-MAX) PVD coating, it handles both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The 0.03-inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life in abrasive and hard materials. With a 1/4-inch diameter, a 1-1/8-inch length of cut, and a 3-inch overall length, this long-series end mill suits deep-cavity milling where standard-length tools fall short. It accepts standard straight-cylindrical toolholders and is intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals running CNC vertical or horizontal machining centers.
The TC27112 is designed for cutting superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. Its high-helix geometry and AlCromax coating are well suited to the elevated heat and tool pressure generated when machining ISO material groups S (superalloys and titanium), M (stainless steel), and K (cast iron). The single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute configuration is the standard choice for conventional CNC milling operations in production and job-shop environments.
Designed for use with standard straight-cylindrical toolholders accepting a 1/4-inch shank diameter (shank tolerance h6). Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous and high-temperature alloy metals.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians on CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Confirm toolholder collet or set-screw bore matches the 1/4-inch shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable limits before cutting. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when setting cutting parameters for the workpiece material.
