The TITAN USA TC25241 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. It carries a 3/4-inch cutting diameter with a 0.03-inch corner radius, a 3-inch length of cut, and a 6-inch overall length. The four-flute, single-end configuration is coated with AlCromax (an AlCrN-based PVD coating) that provides thermal resistance and wear protection when cutting hard, abrasive materials. The high-helix geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation in deep-pocket and long-reach operations. A 3/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank provides rigid tool holding in standard milling toolholders. This end mill is sized and coated for machinists working with superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, cast iron, Inconel, and alloy steel.
The TC25241 is suited for both roughing and finishing passes in CNC milling operations on ferrous and high-temperature alloy workpieces. Its extra-long flute length and extended reach make it well-matched for deep-cavity milling, side-wall finishing, and contour work where shorter tools cannot reach. Typical applications include aerospace component machining, die and mold work, and general precision milling in job shops or production environments handling stainless steel and nickel-based alloys. The corner radius geometry reduces edge chipping and extends tool life compared to sharp-corner end mills in interrupted or heavy cuts.
Designed for use with standard milling toolholders accepting a 3/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloy, Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron, and alloy steel. UNSPSC Code 27112803.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. The tool must be seated securely in a compatible milling toolholder with appropriate runout tolerance before use. Confirm spindle direction matches right-hand cut configuration before engaging the workpiece. Inspect the cutting edge and coating condition before each setup; do not use a chipped or worn end mill in superalloy or titanium cuts, as edge failure can damage the workpiece and toolholder.
