The TITAN USA TC25223 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. Built with a 3/8 inch diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius, and four right-hand helical flutes at a high helix angle, this tool delivers both roughing and finishing capability in a single pass. The AlCromax (ALCRO-MAX) PVD coating provides thermal and wear resistance, making it well-suited for cutting superalloys, titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron. Overall length is 4 inches with a 2 inch length of cut and a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
This end mill fits standard toolholders with a 3/8 inch bore and is classified as an extra-long length type, giving machinists extended reach into deep pockets, slots, and contoured features. It is a single-end, center-cutting geometry that handles both plunge and lateral cutting paths. Primary applications include aerospace component machining, die and mold work, and precision part production where stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, or titanium are the primary workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians working in job shops, aerospace facilities, and precision manufacturing environments are the typical end users.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders accepting a 3/8 inch cylindrical shank. Suitable for machining superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and cast iron as stated by the manufacturer.
Install in a compatible CNC milling toolholder and torque to the toolholder manufacturer's specification — do not exceed the rated clamping range for the shank diameter. Verify runout at the tool tip before initiating a cut, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on carbide tooling. Follow your machine tool's spindle speed and feed rate recommendations for the specific workpiece material; do not exceed the tool's rated cutting parameters. Handle solid carbide tooling carefully to avoid chipping the cutting edges during storage and setup.
