The TITAN USA TC22713 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 0.1200 inch corner radius, and four flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral with a 38-degree high helix angle. The ALCRO-MAX PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting hard and abrasive workpiece materials. With a 1-5/8 inch length of cut and 4 inch overall length, this single-end tool suits both roughing and finishing operations on CNC machining centers using standard toolholders.
This end mill is engineered for cutting superalloys, titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and other ferrous metals. The TC series geometry and high helix design are suited for aerospace, medical, and industrial mold and die applications where tight tolerances and difficult materials are the norm. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 3/4 inch diameter fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders. It handles both roughing stock removal and finishing passes in a single tool, reducing the need for tool changes in multi-step operations.
Designed for use with standard CNC toolholders. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloy, Inconel, stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, and ferrous metals. Part of the TITAN USA TC series.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine power locked out per shop safety procedures. Ensure the straight-cylindrical shank is properly seated and torqued in the toolholder to manufacturer specifications before initiating a cut. Verify runout with a dial indicator before the first pass when working with tight-tolerance materials such as titanium or Inconel. Do not exceed the tool diameter and flute length parameters when programming depth of cut or radial engagement.
