The TITAN USA TC21521 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding material removal in superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, cast iron, Inconel, and alloy steel. It features a 5/8-inch mill diameter, a 0.03-inch corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes with a high helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. The AlCromax (ALCRO-MAX) PVD coating provides high heat resistance and extended tool life in elevated-temperature applications. Single-end configuration with a straight cylindrical shank makes it compatible with standard toolholders used in CNC machining centers and milling operations. This end mill handles both roughing and finishing passes, making it a practical choice for shops running high-performance materials.
The TC21521 is suited for professional machining environments where tight tolerances and hard-to-machine materials are common. Its stub-length geometry with a 3/4-inch length of cut and 3-inch overall length provides rigidity in applications requiring controlled depth and minimal deflection. Typical install scenarios include aerospace, medical, and precision manufacturing where superalloys and stainless steel are primary workpiece materials. The straight cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance fits standard milling toolholders and collet chucks without modification.
Designed for use with standard milling toolholders. Primary workpiece materials include superalloys, titanium alloy, Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron, alloy steel, and other ferrous metals. UNSPSC Code: 27112803, Series: TC.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the machine powered down and the spindle fully stopped. Ensure the toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank; the h6 shank tolerance requires a properly matched collet or holder bore for accurate runout. Follow the machine tool manufacturer torque specifications for drawbar and collet nut tightening. Verify spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut against published speeds-and-feeds data for the specific workpiece material before cutting.
