It features a 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) mill diameter, a 7/16 inch length of cut, and a 1/64 inch (0.0150 inch) corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The four-flute, right-hand helical geometry with a high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. An AlCromax (ALCRO-MAX) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and oxidation protection during high-speed cutting.
