The TITAN USA TC20107 is a screw machine length drill bit sized to Letter G (0.2610 inches) with a 135-degree split point and a solid carbide construction. Screw machine length bits are shorter than jobber-length bits, giving machinists and drill press operators better rigidity and reduced deflection in high-precision boring and production drilling applications. The split point geometry starts on contact without a center punch, improving hole location accuracy. The bright, uncoated finish suits drilling in cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and plastics where coating buildup is not desired. Coolant-through capability is not included in this design. This bit is intended for professional machinists, toolroom technicians, and precision manufacturing environments.
This drill bit is designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual lathes where short, rigid tooling is required. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks and collet systems without modification. With a flute length of 1.25 inches and an overall length of 2.5 inches, the TC20107 fits within Series 200 screw machine length standards. It is well suited for production runs in aerospace, automotive, and general metalworking shops where repeatable hole quality in the 0.2500 to 0.3000 inch diameter range is required.
Designed as a Series 200 screw machine length replacement or working bit for applications requiring a Letter G diameter in the 0.2500 to 0.3000 inch decimal inch range, compatible with any standard drill chuck or collet system accepting a straight cylindrical shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the bit from the chuck or collet. Verify chuck or collet capacity accommodates a straight shank of this diameter before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or cracks before each use, as carbide is brittle and can fracture if dropped or mishandled.
