The TITAN USA TC19249 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for precision drilling in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and other materials where carbide hardness and edge retention are required. It measures 0.0730 inches in diameter with an overall length of 1.75 inches and a flute length of 0.875 inches. The 118-degree standard point angle suits general-purpose drilling applications. The bright, uncoated finish leaves the carbide substrate exposed, making it a cost-effective option where coating is not required. Right-hand spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently during through-hole and blind-hole operations. Machinists, tool-and-die shops, and precision fabricators are the primary users of this size range.
This drill bit is suited for drilling small-diameter holes in aluminum, non-ferrous alloys, plastics, and similar workpiece materials. Its compact 0.0730-inch diameter places it in the wire gauge range at size 49, a common size for tap-clearance holes, pilot holes, and fine assembly work in both production and job-shop environments. The straight cylindrical shank accepts standard drill chucks on CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held pneumatic or electric drills. It is rated for a maximum drilling depth of 0.875 inches, consistent with the 12xD flute-to-diameter ratio of the TC19 series.
Designed for use in standard drill chucks on CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held rotary drills. Intended for drilling aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials as a general-purpose jobber length bit in the TC19 series.
Install in a clean, properly sized drill chuck and tighten securely before operation. At this diameter, carbide bits are brittle — avoid side loading, interrupted cuts without proper feed-rate control, and excessive runout in the spindle or chuck, as any of these conditions can cause breakage. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and bit diameter before beginning the cut. This bit does not support coolant-through delivery and should be used with external coolant or air blast where chip evacuation is a concern.
