The TITAN USA TC19225 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to wire gauge No. 25 (0.1495 inches decimal). It is designed for right-hand, spiral-flute drilling in demanding workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys and titanium. The 118-degree split point reduces walking and lowers the thrust required to start a hole. Overall length is 2.5 inches with a 1.375-inch flute length, giving a 9xD flute-to-diameter ratio suited to general-purpose jobber drilling. The straight-cylindrical shank seats directly in standard drill chucks without an adapter. Machinists and maintenance technicians install this bit in CNC drilling centers, drill presses, and hand drills.
The TC19225 belongs to TITAN USA Series TC19, a general-purpose solid carbide jobber line. Its primary application is precision-diameter hole-making in steel and stainless steel fabrication, aerospace component work involving superalloys and titanium, and production drilling in cast iron and non-ferrous materials. The 0.1495-inch diameter is a common size for tapping operations and clearance holes in light structural and sheet-metal work. No coolant-through capability is built in, so external flood, mist, or air blast cooling is used when drilling harder or heat-sensitive materials.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style jobber drill for use in standard drill chucks accepting a 0.1495-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Compatible with CNC drilling centers, drill presses, and portable drilling equipment. Rated for primary workpiece material codes P, M, K, N, and S per standard material classification.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians with standard drill chuck equipment. Ensure the drill chuck and spindle are fully stopped and de-energized before inserting or removing the bit. Secure the shank fully in the chuck jaws to the maximum engagement depth to prevent runout. When drilling stainless steel, superalloys, or titanium, apply appropriate external cutting fluid or air blast to manage heat buildup, as this bit does not have coolant-through capability.
