Product Description

The TITAN USA TC19214 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and similar materials. It carries a No. 14 wire gauge designation with a decimal diameter of 0.1820 inches. The 118-degree split point geometry promotes accurate starting and reduces walking on entry without a center punch. At 2.75 inches overall length with a 1.625-inch flute length, this bit fits standard drill chucks via its straight cylindrical shank. The bright, uncoated finish is well-suited for non-ferrous applications where coating adhesion is unnecessary. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance trades use this bit in both hand-held and machine-mounted drilling operations.

This drill bit is rated for general-purpose drilling in aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. The 9xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports chip evacuation in moderate-depth holes up to 1.625 inches. The regular spiral flute profile and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional drill press and CNC applications. Its solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention required when working with abrasive or gummy non-ferrous stock where high-speed steel bits deflect or wear prematurely.

Key Features

  • Solid carbide construction for high rigidity and edge retention in non-ferrous materials
  • 118-degree split point for accurate self-starting entry and reduced thrust force
  • Bright, uncoated finish compatible with aluminum and non-ferrous workpieces
  • Regular spiral flute with 9xD ratio for effective chip clearance up to 1.625 inches depth
  • Right-hand cutting direction, straight cylindrical shank for standard chuck compatibility
  • Two-flute design optimized for general-purpose drilling applications

Compatibility

Designed as a general-purpose jobber drill for use in drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand drills accepting a straight cylindrical shank of 0.1820 inches diameter. Primary workpiece material ratings cover aluminum and non-ferrous metals per the TC19 series specification.

Installation Notes

This drill bit is installed and operated by machinists, maintenance technicians, and metalworking trades. Secure the straight shank firmly in a keyed or keyless chuck before operation and verify runout before drilling. Follow shop-standard speeds and feeds for carbide tooling in non-ferrous materials, as carbide is brittle and susceptible to chipping under lateral load or interrupted cuts. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit; apply cutting fluid externally as needed.
