The TITAN USA TC19118 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to Letter R (0.3390 inches) with a 118-degree split point and a bright, uncoated finish. It is designed for general-purpose drilling in metalworking, fabrication, and industrial maintenance applications. The solid carbide construction delivers rigidity and wear resistance compared to high-speed steel, making it well-suited for production drilling where tool life and hole quality matter. The right-hand, regular spiral flute geometry promotes consistent chip evacuation across a range of materials. Machinists, toolroom techs, and CNC operators are the primary installers of this type of tooling.
This drill is intended for use in drilling aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and similar materials where solid carbide tooling provides a performance advantage. The split point geometry reduces walking at entry and requires less thrust force, which is useful on lathes, drill presses, and machining centers. With a 2.5-inch flute length and 4-inch overall length, it fits standard jobber-length toolholders and chucks. The TC19 series is a general-purpose line suited for both shop floor and production environments handling non-ferrous and light ferrous workpieces.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber-length drill for use in drilling aluminum and non-ferrous materials (material codes P, M, K, N, S). Fits any standard drill chuck or collet accepting a 0.3390-inch straight shank.
This tooling is installed by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators on drill presses, lathes, and machining centers. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is properly secured before loading or removing the bit. Solid carbide drills are brittle compared to high-speed steel — avoid side-loading, interrupted cuts beyond the tool design, or using the bit in hand-held drilling applications. Verify chuck runout is within acceptable limits to avoid premature tool failure.
