The TITAN USA TC19111 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized to Letter K (9/32 inch, 0.2812 inch decimal) for general-purpose drilling in a wide range of materials. It features a 118-degree split point that self-centers on entry and reduces walking, combined with a regular right-hand spiral flute for efficient chip evacuation. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well-suited for aluminum and other non-ferrous metals where coatings can cause material adhesion. With an overall length of 3.5 inches and a 2.125-inch flute length, this bit fits standard drill chucks and is a common choice for machinists, tool-and-die shops, and maintenance technicians working with metalworking equipment.
This drill bit is rated for general-purpose drilling applications across a broad workpiece material range including aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and similar materials designated under material codes P, M, K, N, and S. The straight cylindrical shank (9/32 inch diameter) mounts directly in standard Jacobs-style or keyed drill chucks found on drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills. The 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 2-flute design support efficient chip clearance at typical drilling depths up to 2.125 inches. This is a single-piece unit sold individually.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber drill bit for use in standard drill chucks accepting a 9/32-inch straight shank. Typical applications include drill presses, benchtop and floor-standing CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills. Primary workpiece material codes P, M, K, N, and S are supported per the manufacturer specification.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with proper chuck-mounting procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the chuck key is removed before inserting or removing the bit. Secure the shank firmly and concentrically in the chuck to minimize runout, which is especially critical with solid carbide tooling that is more brittle than high-speed steel. Follow the machine manufacturer and applicable shop safety guidelines for spindle speeds and feed rates appropriate to the workpiece material.
