The TITAN USA TC19031 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision drilling in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and other materials within the K, N, S, and M workpiece categories. Ground to a 118-degree split point, it delivers clean entry with reduced walking and lower thrust requirements compared to conventional point geometries. The straight cylindrical shank measures 31/64 inch in diameter and seats directly into standard drill chucks or collet holders. With an overall length of 4.75 inches and a 3-inch flute length, this bit fits within the standard 6xD jobber ratio. It is sold individually and suited for use by machinists, maintenance mechanics, and metalworking tradespeople.
The TC19031 is built for general-purpose drilling applications in production and maintenance environments. The bright uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for drilling aluminum, copper, brass, and similar non-ferrous materials where coating compatibility or regrinding is a consideration. The regular spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation in through-hole and moderate-depth drilling operations. This bit does not include coolant-through capability, so external coolant or cutting fluid application is recommended when drilling at higher feed rates or in heat-sensitive materials.
Designed for use in standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a 31/64-inch straight shank. Suitable for drilling aluminum and non-ferrous materials; workpiece material codes P, M, K, N, and S are listed as applicable per supplier data. Part of the TITAN USA TC19 series of solid carbide jobber drills.
Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout before drilling. Solid carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used in setups with excessive vibration or spindle play. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling. External cutting fluid is recommended when drilling at elevated feed rates to manage heat buildup in the absence of coolant-through capability.
