Product Description

The TITAN USA TC19011 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision drilling in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and similar materials. It features an 11/64 inch (0.1719 inch) diameter with a 118-degree split point that self-centers on entry and reduces walking without a center punch. The bright, uncoated finish is well suited for non-ferrous applications where coating buildup or chemical reaction is a concern. With a 2-flute regular spiral configuration and right-hand cutting direction, this bit clears chips efficiently during through-hole and blind-hole drilling operations. It is part of the TC19 series and is used by machinists, maintenance technicians, and HVAC or mechanical contractors drilling sheet metal and structural aluminum.

The TC19011 is suited for general-purpose drilling in production and maintenance environments. Its 9xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports drilling depths up to 1.625 inches, which covers the majority of light structural and sheet applications. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks without requiring a collet adapter. Typical applications include drilling pilot holes, clearance holes, and through-holes in aluminum extrusions, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous workpieces. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both bench drill presses and hand-held power drills used in trade and light manufacturing settings.

Key Features

  • Solid carbide construction for rigidity and wear resistance in non-ferrous materials
  • 118-degree split point reduces entry thrust and self-centers without a center punch
  • Bright uncoated finish prevents chemical interaction with aluminum and copper alloys
  • 2-flute regular spiral geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation
  • Maximum drilling depth of 1.625 inches matches a 9xD flute-by-diameter ratio
  • Straight cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks directly

Compatibility

Designed as a general-purpose jobber drill for use in aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and similar workpiece materials per the TC19 series specification. Fits any standard drill chuck accepting an 11/64 inch straight shank.

Installation Notes

Install in a drill press or hand-held drill with a chuck rated for the 11/64 inch straight shank diameter. Secure the workpiece firmly before drilling to prevent movement, especially in thin sheet material. Solid carbide bits are brittle compared to high-speed steel — avoid side-loading, bending force, or impact during use. For best tool life, use appropriate cutting fluid or lubricant when drilling copper, brass, or dense aluminum alloys.
